Root Canal Treatment & Extractions

This common procedure is performed where the root of the tooth is removed in the case where there is a deep cavity or an infection is present. This is done with a local anaesthetic to numb the area to minimise any discomfort during the procedure. Antibiotics or pain medication may be prescribed post-surgery.

Post-Operative Instructions

After any major surgery or treatment, you will be given a printout of post-operative instructions on what to do and what not to do. This includes anything from medication to food habits. It is important to follow these instructions carefully to speed up healing and minimise the chance of infection after surgery.
